Wu joined the faculty of Economics in Fall 2012. She is an applied microeconomist whose research focuses on health economics and industrial organization including the reform of healthcare policy in the United States and China. Wu received her PhD in Managerial Economics and Strategy from Northwestern’s Kellogg school of Management in 2012. She received her B.A. degree from Tsinghua University in Beijing, China.
